Ribbon Cutting for Redpath & Company's Saint Paul Headquarters to be held September 3

St. Paul, Minnesota (September 3, 2014) – Accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. will officially open its Saint Paul office today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. CST. Forty-five of the firm's 135 employees now reside in the Alliance Bank building located at 55 East 5th Street.

The move to downtown Saint Paul was spearheaded by Mark Gibbs and Jim Redpath. Gibbs, incoming Managing Partner of Redpath and Company, recommended the move based on the firm's substantial growth in recent years and close ties to the Saint Paul community.

"The City of Saint Paul has been extremely supportive of our decision to open this office. I am humbled by their generosity and appreciative of their efforts and assistance in the transition process," said Gibbs. "We are excited to be a part of the downtown Saint Paul business community and hope that our presence here will contribute substantially to the development and growth of the Capital city." Gibbs will have offices in both the Saint Paul and White Bear Lake locations.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in partnership with the City of Saint Paul and Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce. Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and Chamber President Matt Kramer will be in attendance to welcome the firm to Saint Paul. Redpath and Company is one of the largest accounting firms in the city.

"Redpath and Company, Ltd. joins the ranks of Saint Paul employers, large and small, who value being in the heart of the urban core and accessing the amenities offered in our downtown," said Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman. "I'm excited to welcome their headquarters as part of our city and part of the momentum and economic growth in Saint Paul."
