Redpath and Company Announces 2021 Partner and Director Promotions

St. Paul, Minnesota (October 1, 2021) — Certified public accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. (Redpath) has promoted Alex Helkamp, Andy Hering, Mike Wieczorek, and Joe Hellman to partner, and Christina Brooks, Barrent Dahl, Rebecca Petersen, and Ashley Rehn to director.

Promotions

Alex Helkamp, CPA, CCIFP is the business tax leader of the construction, real estate, and engineering industry team. He assists clients with strategic business tax planning and compliance services, as well as mergers and acquisitions transactions. Alex has provided public accounting services at Redpath and Company since 2011. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Andy Hering, CPA leads the governmental and nonprofit service area. He provides audit and accounting services, assisting clients with complex technical issues and implementation of accounting standards. Andy has provided public accounting services at Redpath since 2000. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.

Mike Wieczorek, CPA is an audit leader on the commercial industry team. He provides clients with audited and reviewed financial statements, benefit plan audits, software consulting, accounting services, and specializes in ESOP plan audits and ESOP accounting issues. Mike has provided public accounting services at Redpath and Company since 2005. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Joe Hellman, CPA leads the transaction advisory services team. He provides support to clients throughout the transaction life cycle, from evaluating opportunities pre-LOI to post-close net working capital true-ups and synergy assessments on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. He has provided public accounting services since 2008 and joined Redpath and Company in 2020. Joe holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Christina Brooks, CPA leads the tax and structuring teams in the M&A practice area, providing clients with strategic tax consulting and compliance services. Christina has provided public accounting services since 2008 and has been at Redpath since 2013. She holds a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management in addition to her B.S. in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.

Barrent Dahl, CPA is a tax leader on the commercial industry team. He works with clients in a variety of industries providing strategic tax planning and compliance services. He has provided public accounting services since 2008 and has been at Redpath and Company since 2011. Barrent holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Rebecca Petersen, CPA is an audit leader on the governmental and nonprofit industry team. She works with cities, special districts, housing authorities, charter schools, and nonprofit clients, providing audited financial statements and accounting services. Rebecca joined Redpath in 2005 and holds a B.A. in Accounting from Augsburg University.

Ashley Rehn, CPA leads the tax-exempt service area at Redpath. She provides tax compliance and consulting services for a variety of exempt organizations including charities, foundations, charter schools, member organizations, business leagues, civic organizations, and social clubs. She has provided public accounting services at Redpath since 2007. Ashley holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
