Redpath and Company Donates to Canvas Health

St. Paul, Minnesota (January 21, 2020) — Certified public accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. (Redpath) has made a charitable contribution to Canvas Health.

Redpath employees Cathy Lydon, director and not-for-profit team leader, and Tom Hodnefield, partner, presented a check to Canvas Health for $17,820 at Redpath headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. The donation is part of Redpath's annual charitable giving campaign in which employees voluntarily donate a portion of their salaries to a selected organization with the proceeds subsequently matched by the firm.

As a nonprofit community-based agency, Canvas Health acts as a safety net provider, serving those with complex needs who may not otherwise be able to afford care.

Matt Eastwood, Canvas Health CEO, shared his thoughts regarding the impact of the donation.

“Canvas Health is profoundly grateful to Redpath and Company’s leadership and staff for recognizing the needs of children in our community who struggle with mental health issues. This generous gift will help children and their families get the support and services that they need to make their futures even brighter."

Mark Gibbs, Redpath's managing partner, also recognized the mission of Canvas Health and its impact on the community.

“Canvas Health has a great history of providing hope to individuals and families struggling with issues ranging from mental illness to substance abuse to housing instability. Supporting organizations that support our community is a corporate responsibility we take very seriously. Our culture of giving starts with our employees who donate a significant amount of money out of their own pockets."

This is the thirteenth year that Redpath employees have had the option to donate a portion of their annual salaries to support a charitable cause. Since 2007, Redpath has donated over $220,000 to local and nationally recognized not-for-profit organizations.
