Meet Our Accounting Interns of Spring 2018

January 18, 2018 — Our interns are in the second week of their accounting internship here at Redpath in beautiful St. Paul, Minnesota! Throughout the next three months, they will gain real-world public accounting experience in our tax and audit departments. They will get a feel for busy season and work with everyone from Professional Staff to Partners.

But just who are these people? We’ve given them the chance to share a bit about themselves—our young professionals.

Keaton J. Bonine

Keaton is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and joins our business and tax department. He’s named after the actor Michael Keaton. He’s an easy-going, happy person who enjoys fishing, viewing games of sport, and spending time with friends.

Tyler R. Carrillo

Tyler is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and joins our tax department. He is an avid outdoorsperson, enjoying fishing, hiking, camping, and the outdoors itself. He is driven, principled, and charismatic—his Spanish fluency surely helps.

Jamie L. Fairbanks

Jamie is a senior at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and joins our tax department. She’s organized—so much so that she arranged the meeting of her sibling and new in-law! She’s also spontaneous and energetic, which spells fun with friends and family, be it at the lake, or on the rink when she’s playing ice hockey.

 Sierra A. Joswick

Sierra is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and joins our not-for-profit/government auditing department. She enjoys kayaking when it’s warm, and movie nights when it’s chilly. She is a fun, easy-going person but also puts in hard work—she was not only a girl scout for 13 years, but continues to help the organization alongside her younger scouting sister.

Samuel T. Kimball

Sam is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and joins our tax department. He values energy, passion, and living in a genuine way. New restaurants, a good workout, or movies with climactic twists are things he enjoys.

Mikaela A. Marier

Mikaela is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and joins our commercial and government audit departments. She’s ambitious, hard-working, outgoing, and loves spending time with friends and family—six of whom are accountants!

Connor F. Mohs

Connor is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and joins our tax department. He believes in kindness, passion, and spending time at his lakeside cabin. He also thinks that things should be clean and organized in and out of the workplace.

 Tracy K. Nguyen

Tracy has just graduated from St. Catherine University, and joins our commercial audit department. She loves a good joke, believes that people should be driven, and also loves a great film or TV series—and sloths. She thinks that it’s good to live thoughtfully.

 Nickolas R. Nieting

Nick is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and joins our tax department. He is enthusiastic and active, and outside of work you can find him at the gym or with his friends. He’s laid back, so make sure you’re talking to Nick and not his twin!

Beau M. Walter

Beau has just graduated from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul, and joins our tax department. He’s from Arkansas, and is a pond hockey player who thinks that kindness, humor, and passion go a long way.

Maria L. Yanna

Maria is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and joins our tax department. She’s spunky and outgoing, and one of her favorite things is being a Wisconsin Men’s Badger basketball fan! She has not only a sense of humor but also serious jigsaw puzzling skills.

We welcome all of you to Redpath and are thrilled to have you here! Are you interested in a career in public accounting? Check out our Summer Experience Program.
