Fresh Leadership for St. Paul-based CPA Firm

St. Paul, Minnesota (October 1, 2014) Accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. announced today that Mark Gibbs is now officially the firm's Managing Partner. Gibbs is replacing Jim Redpath, who has held the position since 2008.

A 27-year Redpath and Company veteran, Gibbs says he is appreciative and humbled by the tremendous amount of support he has received since the start of the transition process.

"With Jim as a mentor, an outstanding management team and 135 dedicated employees, I'm able to step into this role with confidence and excitement for what's ahead," said Gibbs, who names the firm's continuous growth as his number one objective. "I plan on spending every day doing all that I can to deliver results for this firm the way it has always delivered for me."

As Managing Partner of the firm, Gibbs will divide his time between client management, business development and managerial duties. A St. Paul native and active member of the community, Gibbs has been heavily involved in the firm's leadership for more than a decade of his career.

"The culture of our company relies on fresh leadership. We really embrace change and see it as opportunistic," said Jim Redpath, who will remain at the firm as a full-time Tax Partner and Client Manager. "With Mark as Managing Partner, our future is very bright. By spearheading the opening of our St. Paul office, he really got our momentum rolling and as long as he's in charge it's definitely not slowing down. He is a great fit for the job."
